TransDual Forensics specializes in the English and Spanish languages. We offer services in both general and forensic translation, transcription, and interpretation. We translate and interpret from Spanish to English and vice versa and can transcribe both English and Spanish speech. In addition we can translicate from one language to the other. Translication (or TT) is a service that combines both transcription and translation. It is the process of, for example, first taking Spanish language audio and transcribing it to Spanish text. Then that Spanish text is translated to English text.

Many transcription companies that offer Spanish transcription services offer it at an increased cost. In fact, some charge quite a lot more. TransDual Forensics, however, charges the same rate for transcription regardless of language.

Forensic linguists & speech scientists are available for difficult projects
If you have a recording of a person who is fairly difficult to understand because of a speech impediment, thick accent, or slurred speech, or perhaps the audio was recorded in a noisy environment or with overlapping speech, it might be necessary to enlist the skills and knowledge

Securely upload & download files

You can securely upload and download your audio, video, and document files, even large files up to 10GB in size. Your files are sent using 128-bit SSL encryption, and once we have your files, they are encrypted and backed up on an isolated hard drive. Certified Transcripts - Certified Translations

All of our forensic documents are automatically certified via two different methods. Our general translations and transcriptions may also be certified when requested. Certification of forensic documents is always done at no additional cost.

Forensic Audio Enhancement & Noise Reduction

We also have forensic audio capabilities. If the speech on an audio recording is inaudible, or unintelligible due to a distant or quiet voice or loud noises such as a car alarm, traffic, machinery, air conditioning unit, tape hiss, and so on, it is something we can likely improve. Sometimes there is nothing that can be done to make a word or sentence understandable, but other times with the right techniques the audio can be improved enough that it becomes decipherable.

We like to keep our rates as simple as possible. That way the client always knows what to expect. Most of our rates are known before the work is done. For example, our audio/video translation and transcription rates are per minute of audio. Also, whenever reasonable, text translation is charged for the source language. Only when words cannot be electronically counted do we charge for the target language. We do however offer an estimate when charging for the target language.

We accept documents in electronic formats such as Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, as well as hardcopies shipped to us or scanned and uploaded to our website.
