Certification of Documents at TransDual Forensics
We certify documents in two different ways. First, our translations and transcriptions are certified by a notary public attesting to their accuracy.
In addition, we use Certified Document Services (CDS) from Adobe® coupled with DocumentSign digital IDs from GlobalSign®. This is a digital signature with a CDS certificate included in the PDF document. When that document is opened, the reader is presented with a blue ribbon and an automatic message certifying that the author's identity has been verified by GlobalSign® and that the document has not been altered. If any changes have been made since the certification the user will be presented with a red "X" and a message stating "The document certification is INVALID."
CDS works with Adobe Reader® and Acrobat® 6.0 or later.
