We accept an array of audio and video formats including both analog and digital. Send us your microcassettes, standard cassettes, reels, and VHS tapes. If you have digital files such as .wav, .mp3, .wma, and .avi, you may upload them to us. We will provide you with an account or send you a link to do so. We accept both English- and Spanish-language recordings for transcription.
Spanish transcription refers to transcribing Spanish audio as Spanish text. If you are interested in converting Spanish audio into English text, please check out our translication and audio translation services.

The finished product is delivered in PDF. If requested we can also produce transcripts in Microsoft Word or many other formats. Hard copies are available at the additional cost of $0.40 per page.

Marginally Intelligible Speech

If you have a recording of a meeting, interview, oral history, or anything else with speech that is difficult to understand, we may be able to help you get it transcribed accurately. Depending on why it's hard to understand and how difficult it is, we can assign your recording to a forensic transcriptionist, a forensic linguist or a speech scientist. In addition, speech enhancement techniques may also be utilized. Each recording is different though; some can be transcribed with great success while others can never be completely understood.

Subtitles

In addition to transcripts, if you would like subtitles added to a video diary, podcast, news footage, etc., we can do that for you. Subtitles can be in Spanish or English.
