We provide oral history transcription services to universities, nonprofit organizations and museums, businesses, government agencies, and individuals. So whether you're working on an oral history project at a university or your own family's audio memoirs and interviews, you have come to the right place.
English and Spanish oral history transcription is available.
We accept a large variety of audio and video formats. If you have been trying to find a place that can actually transcribe oral histories recorded on Betamax, VHS, 8-track tape, reel-to-reel, or MiniDisc, you have found it. Digital files as large as 10 GB can be securely uploaded to our site. Physical media can be shipped to us via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

Oral History Audio Transfer Services
We will convert your old audio tapes to a digital file format such as .wav or .mp3. We can also create compact discs and data DVDs and Blu-ray discs. When combined with transcription or translation, audio transfer rates are cut by about half.
Translation to and from Spanish
Send us your Spanish oral histories too – we'll translate them into English. Of course, we can translate your English recordings into Spanish as well.
Audio Enhancement, Restoration, and Editing
Is your old oral history tape sounding bad? We can eliminate or reduce hiss, hum, and buzz. We can also increase the volume of a quiet speaker and eliminate or reduce noises such as car horns and slamming doors.
Editing your recording is another option. We can rearrange the order of questions and answers, combine or split recordings, and remove pauses, uhs and ahs, and other unwanted utterances and noises.
Convert Video Tapes and Files to Audio
We don't offer video transfer services; but we can extract the audio from your video recordings and create a digital audio file, CD, or cassette tape for you.
