Easily Upload Your Files
You can upload your audio, video, and document files to us and almost never have to worry about the file size. Files up to 10GB can be uploaded. In addition, you needn't worry about security. When you upload or download files they are sent using 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Once we have them they remain encrypted while in storage. The only people with access to the files are those with a need.

Audio, Video, & Text/Document Translation Services
We accept many document, audio, and video files such as .doc, .docx, .pdf, .wav, .mp3, .avi, and .wmv. We also accept hard copies shipped to or scanned and uploaded to us. In addition, analog audio and video recordings are fine too. We accept everything from microcassettes to 8-track tapes to VHS and even Betamax.

All analog audio is digitized before being given to the translator. The audio/video translation process can add a lot of wear and tear to the various tape formats, so to avoid possible damage the only person who handles them will be an audio engineer.

The audio transfer/digitization fee for transcription and translation projects is $8 per source. So, if you have one microcassette and one 7 inch reel the total transfer cost would be $16.

*By general translation, we mean anything without extensive technical or industry specific jargon. Thus, even if you have business related dictation, interviews, surveys, brochures, and so forth, they may qualify as general translation if the documents or recordings don't contain a lot of specialized language.

Translication (Transcription and Translation Combined)

You can choose from two options when translation from audio or video sources is required. One is called audio or video translation and the other is called translication. With audio/video translation we translate directly from speech in language "A" to text in language "B" (the cheaper option). Translication, on the other hand, combines both transcription & translation services. Translication is the process of, for example, first taking Spanish language audio and transcribing it to Spanish text. Then, that Spanish text is translated to English text. Finally, both documents are presented to the client.

Translication is necessary for situations when accuracy is critical. Thus, with forensic, criminal justice, and law enforcement translation, we should translicate your material.

Certified Translations

All legal / forensic translations are certified automatically and at no additional charge. When requested, general translations may also be certified for an additional fee. There are two methods of certification that we use. Click here to read about our certification process.

Subtitles

Do you prefer your video files to have subtitles instead of paper translations? Maybe you would like both. We provide both English and Spanish subtitling services. Subtitles could be the same as the spoken language or can be translations of the spoken word.
